Description
A number of Concept’s specialist smoke systems use CO2 to propel the smoke fluid through the system. When operating at a high output or for long periods of time CO2 can causing frosting on the regulator and gas hose assembly. This is a natural phenomenon due to the rapid expansion and cooling of gas as it transitions from high pressure inside the cylinder to lower pressure through the regulator. When the temperature falls below the freezing point of water vapor in the air or the CO2 itself, frost forms on the regulator.
To combat this frosting, Concept offer a CO2 Regulator Heater. This allows for a flow of CO2 gas up to 25LPM without risk of the regulator freezing. It is easily connected to both regulator & CO2 cylinder and has an indicator light to show when in operation.
